Recent research by Open Banking has found that at least 750,000 SMEs now integrate their bank accounts with third-party services to reduce the cost of transactions and to help manage cash flow.

Yesterday the Chancellor announced the Spring Budget 2023 for the year ahead. In case you missed it, what do UK small business owners need to know? 💭

◽ Corporation tax on profits over £250,000 will rise from 19% to 25% in April
◽ A new Capital Allowance regime for businesses to write off the cost of certain capital expenditures against their taxable profits
◽ From 1 April 2023, there will be an increase in the relief rate for loss-making R&D-intensive SMEs - eligible businesses should receive a credit of 27p for every £1
◽ Enhanced tax relief for 12 “Investment Zones.”
◽ A boost for AI companies to boost support for the UK’s artificial intelligence companies
◽ Free childcare increases to help parents get back to work
