We’ve killed our darlings - even though we’ve invested ✨significant✨ time and ressources in them.

Why?

Because we want our new learning experience, to be the best in the world.

Sometimes, that means waving goodbye to features we used to love.
And replace them with something better than we ever dreamed if.

Now, it’s time for feedback.

And we’re spending this month implementing the ideas of 1,000 women testing it before we share it with the world.

Today, this community was heard in the UK goverment🔥🚀👇

What happened?

We were invited by the UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Peter Kyle, to share our thoughts on entrepreneurship in the UK.
hartvigsen went, and she mainly focussed on the funding gap and the significant barriers women still face.

Most importantly, she discussed how this issue can be solved.

Earmarked funding. Quotas.

Conversations like these are so important, and we take pride in representing women in rooms we’ve historically been excluded from.

We also made sure to discuss bias in a wider sense, because people of color face even bigger barriers.

It’s always a bit daunting to push a controversial agenda in rooms where these views are often not shared.

Therefore, we were very pleasantly surprised today. Peter is an absolute ally, and we had a great conversation.

It was recorded, and will soon be shared across the UK Department for Business and Trade’s channels.

Hopefully, it will inspire real change💛
