Queen Mary Trading & Investment Society Welcome to Queen Mary's Trading and Investment Society! We have been growing ever since.

Established in 2008, QMTIS is the most subscribed finance-related society at Queen Mary, University of London. QMTIS was founded with the objective to provide a solid platform for ambitious students to learn and network. With more than 200 active members from diverse academic, national and ethnic backgrounds, we strongly believe that we have one of the most diverse and active societies on campus. Our weekly sessions, which involve presentations from our members and technical skills coaching, offer students the opportunity to discover where their interests and strengths lie. Furthermore, members benefit from a range of interactive workshops with professionals from the City, panel events, our guest speaker series and mentorship programme.

After starting his career writing stock prices on the trading floor at Scrimgeour-Kemp Gee and then trading Fixed Income and FX at Lloyds, Jeremy settled at T.Rowe Price in 2000 where he is now head of trading European Equities. With $1.2 Trillion under management, T.Rowe Price was an early user of automation in ex*****on and Jeremy's desk won 'Trading desk of the year' in 2019, beating J.P Morgan, Goldman Sachs and others. This is a great opportunity to discover trading, the evolution of the financial industry and learn from a veteran trader with years of experience.
