Our colleague, Ceci, recently spent a day volunteering with Baby Basics UK, a charity that supports families with young children by providing essential items and practical help during challenging times.

Throughout the day, Ceci helped organise and sort donated and purchased baby items, ensuring they were stored safely and efficiently. She also supported visitors and worked with fellow volunteers to help keep the centre running smoothly. Well done, Ceci!

A huge thank you to our Woodland Saver customers for helping us to reach an incredible milestone of 80,000 trees planted since the launch of the range in 2021. Over their lifetime, these trees are expected to sequester over 14,206 tCO2e from the atmosphere.

Every time a customer opens or renews one of our fixed term deposit or cash ISA accounts, we partner with Forest Carbon to plant a tree on their behalf in a certified UK woodland project. Together, we’re supporting biodiversity, helping to mitigate flooding, improving air quality and creating greener spaces for communities to enjoy.

Customer feedback continues to highlight the value of this nature-positive initiative. Our research shows that 80% of surveyed Woodland Saver customers consider our tree-planting commitment to be an important factor in their decision to open an account with us.

A huge well done to our colleagues, Lucy and Liatt, who recently completed a 30km fundraising walk from London Bridge to Richmond for Depaul UK.

Before setting off along the River Thames, they visited a Depaul UK accommodation centre near London Bridge to learn more about the vital support the charity provides to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

A fantastic achievement for a great cause, helping raise both funds and awareness for the vital work that Depaul UK does every day.
