Big Feastival is a three-day festival on Alex James' farm in the Cotswolds. There’s music, amazing food, and loads of fun for all the family.

We’re really proud to be partnering with StepChange Debt Charity over the coming few weeks on their ‘Debt shouldn’t be the cost of living’ campaign.

Our mission is to make money work for everyone, and we really appreciate how difficult it can be at the moment to juggle rising costs with everyday life.

Hi everyone. You might have noticed that the app went down yesterday for a few hours (again, we’re really sorry for all the inconvenience caused!)

But you might have also noticed that you could still do a lot of things you normally do with Monzo, such as paying for things and withdrawing cash.

This is thanks to the brilliant minds of our engineers, who a couple of years ago created something called ‘Monzo Stand-In’. It’s a completely independent set of systems to our primary bank, which supports our most important features. So even when the primary app has an issue, Stand-In comes into play. That means you can go about most of your business as usual, until the main app switches back on.

Hey everyone, for a short period today, we activated Monzo Stand-in, our fully independent backup bank while we investigated an issue affecting customers.

This technical issue has been resolved, and all of our services are now back up and running. We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you all for your patience.

This afternoon, we identified some issues affecting Monzo and activated Monzo Stand-in, our fully independent backup bank. As a result, you can still make card payments, withdraw cash, freeze your card, send and receive bank transfers, and more.

We're rolling out a fix and moving quickly to get full service back up and running for everyone. Thanks for your patience.
