Bloomsbury Art Fair Charitable Art Fair All works are for sale and visitors can purchase affordable and investment pieces in the beautiful surroundings of Goodenough College.

The second Bloomsbury Art Fair opens at Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square from 6-8 July 2012 and work is underway to bring together a collection of painting and drawing, photography, print and sculpture for visitors to choose from in a relaxed atmosphere. Having attracted over 3,000 visitors and raised over £60,000 for charity at its debut last year, the Bloomsbury Art Fair is planning anoth

er extravaganza to appeal to first time buyers or serious collectors. For those who can’t make up their mind and would like more time to think about their purchase, re-entry is free on subsequent days so visitors can return any time and buy. Benefiting charities from the Bloomsbury Art Fair 2012 are Motivation, the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust and Walking With The Wounded.

AMATEUR ARTISTS!

BBC One is on the hunt for the best of Britain’s amateur artists for a new competitive arts series.

We're looking for amateur painters from all over the UK who have a passion for painting and drawing. If you are over 16 and like a creative challenge we want to hear from you.

Applicants must not be professional artists and will be expected to work in a variety of different figurative forms and media - from landscape, portraiture and still life, to watercolour, oil and charcoal.

New album added from the Midsummer Charitable Party. The Fair raised over £25,000 for three charities on Thursday evening: Motivation, the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust and Walking With The Wounded. Top lot was £2,700 for 1 week in a family villa in the south west of France and the crowd pulled together to pledge £2,500 for a Paralympic wheelchair for a disabled athlete.
