π Erasmus+ is coming back to the UK from 2027. Is your organisation ready?
The European Commission has confirmed that the EU and UK have enabled the UKβs association to Erasmus+ in 2027 β creating new opportunities for UK organisations active in:
π education
π« schools, colleges and universities
π οΈ vocational education and training
π youth work
π€ NGOs and community organisations
π adult education
β½ sport
Funding is expected to open in November 2026, but strong Erasmus+ projects are not built at the last minute.
Now is the right time to prepare.
π Recommended preparation timeline:
β
MayβSeptember 2026
Develop your project concept, identify real needs, define objectives and start looking for European partners.
β
Autumn 2026
Review the 2027 Erasmus+ Programme Guide and confirm final eligibility rules, priorities and application requirements.
β
November 2026βFebruary 2027
Prepare and submit your Erasmus+ application, depending on the relevant action and deadline.
β
2027 onward
Start project implementation, depending on approval, contracting and grant agreement timelines.
After several years outside Erasmus+, many UK organisations will need to rebuild their European partnerships, refresh their Erasmus+ knowledge and prepare competitive project proposals.
With over 15 years of experience in EU-funded projects, Erasmus+ applications, project management, training and international partnerships, I can support UK organisations with:
πΉ project idea development
πΉ needs analysis and intervention logic
πΉ partner search and consortium building
πΉ application writing
πΉ budget planning
πΉ work package design
πΉ implementation and reporting support
πΉ training for staff and project teams
π£ UK organisations should start preparing now for Erasmus+ 2027 β not when the deadline is already close.
If your organisation is based in the UK and wants to explore Erasmus+ opportunities for 2027, I would be happy to discuss how I can support your preparation.
