It is hard to pin down the exact driver of NFT mania, though the wider boom in cryptocurrencies has created a cohort of crypto millionaires and billionaires who believe in the promise of the blockchain and have money to bet on it.

They are speculating that NFTs, which are often pieces of art (such as a destroyed diamond, or a virtual perfume) but which also range from slices of virtual Manhattan real estate, to season tickets for sports clubs, to any number of real world assets, are a crossover product which will attract millions of ordinary people to the crypto world.

Although the metaverse means different things to different people, the common thread is that it represents the next big thing in our digital world, a kind of internet 2.0.

☄A universal metaverse will take decades of infrastructure development and billions of dollars of investment to become reality. 

☄Metaverse will open up the possibility of new forms of work in and reshape the digital economy.

European Forest Union, powered by blockchain? What a brilliant idea! 👍

The EU already understands that trees play a vital role in reversing climate change and in achieving their 2050 carbon neutrality target. In order to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and measure progress, having one unified EU digital forest platform makes sense.

Making the platform blockchain-based would provide member states with the comfort they will likely seek around national data privacy. It also presents a new way to fund both forest preservation and research on solutions to tackle the climate crisis – all without any need to increase EU budgets.

Opportunities, if we not only protected but also optimised trees – using blockchain:

🌲 It creates a single market for forest data apt for tracking progress

🌲 It improves the traceability of wood in supply chains

🌲 It incentivises forest owners to reverse deforestation

🌲 Increase investor access and stimulate cross-border investment

And what would investing in a blockchain-based forest solution signal to the rest of the world? That the Commission is walking the walk, not just talking the talk about positioning Europe at the forefront of blockchain innovation.

It’s a win-win-win for the environment, for digital innovation and very possibly for European economic growth too.

The Bianca Carvalho JS NFT platform not only provides customers with the ability to purchase and sell NFTs, but the marketplace also allows people to license and sell intellectual property (IP), as it is copyrighted by blockchain technology.

The billion-dollar company has launched its NFT marketplace this week. Each auction starts at 100 yuan (US$15), and bidding requires a 500 yuan deposit.
