Very Happy to be sponsoring the shirts through Promedica24 and Albany Finance as well as playing in this years Burnt Ash Hockey Club(Bexley) Summer League tournament.

This is a fantastic time, when up to 150 players of the club are put into teams, placed in groups, with the aim to making it to the finals in July.

Quite competitive on the pitch, but great fun, and a few beers back at the Manor Way clubhouse, which we share with Bexley Cricket Club.

This years theme is bears, with my team being the Pom Bears. Lost our first game but won the second one, with one more group game to go.😁 Come on The Pom Bears 🏑🍺👍

Great afternoon doing an Easter Egg giveaway at the 151 Club Club. Discussed later life financial advice and live in care with members of the community and was so pleased to get such a positive response.

It was a great opportunity to spend time with some members and an honour to have the Deputy Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Rags Sandhu and MP Sir David Evennett in attendance.

I cannot give enough thanks to my friends Patrick and Cindy, and Club Secretary Peter for making this possible.

Also wonderful to have my Dad be there too. As the food connoisseur of the family, he says the Fish and Chips at the 151 club are the best he’s had!

🌅 Sundowning is a change of behaviour that happens as the sun starts to set in the evening. Some people with dementia become increasingly confused, agitated, and restless around this time. Often, they will start to feel like they're in the wrong place, or that there's something that they urgently need to do.

If someone you know experiences sundowning, try reassuring them and using comforting language to manage their distress. Try to stick to a daily routine, limit caffeine or alcohol, and keep the lights on around dusk to try and reduce the chances of it happening.
