💫 🎄 💫 A Christmas Wish! 💫 🎄 💫

💫 As I sit by the warm glow of the fireplace, wrapped in a cosy blanket, I can't help but feel the magic of Christmas approaching. The burgundy sofa beside the softly lit tree is my favourite spot, where the twinkling fairy lights reflect the joy of the season. Outside if it snows, the world will be painted in peace and quiet.

🎄 This year, I'm looking forward to the simple joys of Christmas-sharing laughter, sipping hot cocoa, and soaking in the warmth of love and goodwill. It's a time to pause, connect with those who matter most, and wish for a world filled with kindness and light.

💫 Amid this festive setting, with gifts ready to be opened and stockings hung above the glowing fire, my heart whispers a wish: may peace, love, and goodwill find their way to everyone this holiday season!

Today, we hold onto the happy memories-those special moments that remind us of his warmth and wisdom. What blessed moments of awe!

That's how we felt when we visited those places while on vacation. Although the scenery itself was breathtaking, our feeling of awe had more to do with reverence, gratitude and love than with the spectacular beauty. We had a sense of being in the presence of the One who created these wonders. We found ourselves saying, "This is only one wonder on one small planet in a universe that includes billions of stars, and distances measured in millions of light-years. Awesome!

✨ Awesome moments, so powerful, so amazing, so beautiful that time seems to stand still.

✨ The ocean, a majestic mountain range, or a breath-taking sunset with colours so amazing that makes us wonder, . . . . only who could do this?

The Next Generation - My Why - Priceless!

Years before Zoom was an accessible communication tool, a friend asked me to join her on a video call to discuss a project. Through the tone of my emails, she could tell I was baffled, so she suggested I find a teenager to help me figure out how to set up a video call. Her suggestion points to the value of intergenerational relationships. We certainly respect the advice of those who share their seasoned wisdom with younger generations. The exchange can go both ways. There's something to be learned from those younger than us as well as those who are older. When we seek to develop loving and loyal intergenerational relationships, it blesses us and others and help us learn something we don't know.
