Mortgage Mythbusters - "Your bank will always give you the best mortgage rate." ❌ Myth.
Your bank can only offer its own mortgage products.

A mortgage broker compares rates from 90+ lenders, helping you explore a much wider range of options. That means you could find a mortgage that's better suited to your circumstances rather than settling for what's available from just one lender.

Before committing to your bank, make sure you've explored all of your options.

What is a Mortgage in Principle?

You might also hear it called a Decision in Principle (DIP) or an Agreement in Principle (AIP) – they all mean the same thing.

It's an indication from a lender of how much they may be willing to lend you based on an initial assessment of your finances. Having one in place before you start making offers shows estate agents and sellers that you're a serious buyer.

Not sure where to start? Get in touch with us, send us a message, or visit https://www.manyhandsmortgages.com/ and we'll guide you through the process.

Buying your first home is exciting... until the paperwork starts arriving.

Bank statements. Payslips. ID. Proof of deposit.

It can feel like a lot, especially if you've never been through the process before.

That's why we'll send you a checklist before you need anything, so you know exactly what's coming and can get organised early. The documents required will depend on your circumstances, and we'll talk you through everything along the way.

Thinking about buying your first home? We'd be happy to help.

How much can you actually borrow? It's one of the first questions you should answer before you start viewing properties.

Every lender assesses affordability differently. The amount you can borrow depends on your income, financial commitments, and individual circumstances, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer.

Speaking to a mortgage broker first means we can compare multiple lenders and help you understand your budget before you fall in love with a property.

Get in touch today and let's find out what you could borrow - https://www.manyhandsmortgages.com/

More positive movement on mortgage rates, with NatWest, Virgin Money, HSBC and Santander among the lenders announcing reductions.

If you're buying or remortgaging and haven't checked your options recently, it could be worth taking another look. What's available will depend on your individual circumstances.

Send us a message if you'd like us to talk you through your options.

Getting your mortgage application moving quickly starts before it's even submitted.

The biggest cause of delays usually isn't your credit score or the lender - it's missing documents. Having everything ready from the start helps avoid unnecessary back-and-forth and keeps your application progressing as smoothly as possible.

Not sure what you'll need? Give us a call or send us a message and we'll let you know exactly what's required before you apply. - https://www.manyhandsmortgages.com/
