🌴 Which Canary Island fits your budget? ✈️☀️
💸 Budget-friendly
Fuerteventura, one of the cheapest overall (especially for beaches and apartments)
La Palma , great value for nature trips and rural stays
La Gomera,  low prices but fewer options (simple, local tourism)
El Hierro, cheapest lifestyle, very low tourist pressure

💰 Mid-range
Tenerife, best deals due to competition (flights, stays andfood options)
Gran Canaria, similar to Tenerife, wide range of prices depending on area

💎 Higher cost (especially in summer / tourist zones)
Lanzarote, tends to be more expensive for accommodation and dining in peak season

💡 Tip: In summer (July–August), ALL islands increase in price,Tenerife & Gran Canaria usually stay the most flexible due to availability, while smaller islands can be limited and sometimes pricier because of low supply.

Algarve from the UK can look expensive… but honestly? It’s one of the cheapest sunny getaways in Europe if you plan it right ☀️

Here’s how to do it:

✈️ Flights from London, Manchester or Bristol from €40–120
🏡 Smart stay: Lagos or Portimão are usually better value than Albufeira
🏖️ Unreal beaches (completely free)

-Praia da Marinha
-Praia de Cacela Velha
-Praia Verde
-Praia do Barril

🍴 Eat local seafood spots instead of tourist restaurants

💡 Tips:
✔️ Avoid peak summer prices in July & August
✔️ Travel in May, June or September
✔️ Book flights early for the best deals
✔️ Bring euros in cash, many smaller places still prefer it

💸 Average daily spend: €35–70

Save this for your next sunny escape 👀

If you’re doing Interrail, this can save you 300€ 🚆

💸Not using travel days properly.
Every time you travel, you use one of your limited Interrail travel days.
Using one for a short or cheap route gives you much less value than using it for a long or expensive journey.

💸 Paying for seat reservations you don’t need
Your Interrail pass covers many trains for free, but some high-speed trains require extra paid reservations.

🌙 Not taking advantage of night trains
You pay for transport and accommodation separately
Night trains combine both in one trip

📍 Booking accommodation too close to stations
Convenient, yes… but usually overpriced
5–10 minutes further away is often much cheaper

🗺️ Ignoring city-to-city distance strategy
Bad route planning means more travel days used
More travel days means higher total cost

🧠 Smart moves:
– Use travel days for long distances only
– Check reservation-free routes first
– Consider night trains for longer journeys
– Stay slightly outside main station areas
– Plan your route to minimise travel days

Spring in Athens just hits different✨

Imagine flying from the UK in under 4 hours, with return flights starting from around £180–£250 if you book smart 🌍✈️.

A full city break package (flights + 4★ hotel) can even go from £188 per person for a few nights… yes, Athens can be THAT affordable

Once you land, the real magic begins…
Staying in the heart of the city? Expect around €70–120 per night for a nice mid-range hotel, or €150+ if you’re feeling luxury with Acropolis views 🏨

Food? Unreal AND cheap.
• Street food like gyros: €3–5
• Traditional tavernas: €10–15
• Cute dinner spots with wine: €25–35
You can literally eat like a king without breaking the bank 🍷🍴

Activities are where Athens shines 🏛️
• Acropolis + main sites combo ticket: ~€30
• Guided tours: €35–60
• Transport around the city: ~€4.50/day
So you’re exploring ancient history for less than a night out back home 😮

Overall budget for spring:
• Budget trip: ~€50–80/day
• Mid-range comfort: €100–150/day
• Luxury vibes: €200+
Meaning a full week in Athens can cost as little as €700–1,000 total (excluding flights) 💸

And the best part? Spring weather = sunshine, fewer crowds, and golden sunsets over the Acropolis 🌅

Athens isn’t just a trip… it’s history, food, culture and chaos in the most beautiful way 🤍

Vienna during Eurovision is amazing 🇦🇹✨
Yes, the city is full of music, screens, and fan zones… but it’s also the perfect excuse to explore one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals.

Between Eurovision moments, you can:

☕ Get lost in historic cafés like Café Central or Café Sacher
🏰 Visit Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens
🎡 Ride the Prater Ferris wheel for iconic city views
🚶‍♂️ Walk through the old town: Stephansplatz, Graben & Hofburg
🌿 Relax in the Stadtpark or along the Danube

And when Eurovision starts again at night… the city lights up all over again 🎤🔥
Best of both worlds: culture + music + unforgettable vibes.

Seville in spring hits different… and Feria de Abril is the reason 💃🌸

This isn’t just a festival, it’s one of the most vibrant cultural experiences in Spain. Music, dancing, traditional outfits, food, and lights everywhere.

✨ What is Feria de Abril?
A week-long celebration in Seville where locals gather in “casetas” (private tents) to eat, drink, dance sevillanas, and celebrate day and night.

👗 Outfit (and cost)
Dressing up is part of the experience:
• Women: flamenca dress → €1oo–€300+ (buy or rent)
• Men: shirt + trousers or traditional suit → €50–€150
💡 You can also go more casual, but dressing up makes it 10x better

🍤 Food & drinks (budget)
• Rebujito (typical drink): €8–€12
• Tapas: €3–€8 each
• Full meal: €15–€30
• Churros late at night = a must

💸 Good to know
Cash is VERY important, many casetas don’t accept cards, so bring enough with you.

🎡 Things to do
• Dance sevillanas (even if you don’t know how)
• Hop between casetas (public ones exist!)
• Go to the fair rides area
• Walk around at night when everything is lit up ✨

💭 Why go?
Because there’s nothing like it. It’s authentic, chaotic, beautiful, and full of life. One of those experiences you don’t just visit — you feel.
