Has Chat GPT made me redundant yet?
Let’s not lie - for most of us, it’s a thought that has festered somewhere in our minds. Even if you have a job that can’t be replaced by AI learning that does not mean it will not impact the way you do your job in the future - it’s an evolving technology that is going to change the way we do work.
This new AI language model has made life easier for us - it’s what we wish google was the night before an exam that we were cramming for. Instead of having to scroll through endless websites to ascertain the answer you want, you have a virtual assistant that can communicate exactly what you are looking for.
It can write essays, solve higher-level math problems, and even execute complex coding.
But just because it’s making life easier for us doesn’t necessarily mean it will not come with consequences. And we will have to wait and see what these negative effects will be.
Social Media was initially invented with the aim of connecting us - and now it’s turning into an addiction which many people are struggling to wean themselves off. The advent of smartphones means that at the palm of our hands, we have more technological advancement than all our ancestors put together - but the problem is our eyes are now glued to our hands - we are ignoring everyone around us.

When we begin to understand each other on a deeper level we are better suited to innovate and create solutions that will add value to people's lives.
