Most founders spend a lot of time on competitive analysis. Who’s running ads. Who just raised. Who’s eating their lunch.

But that’s almost never what’s actually blocking growth.

The real threat is inertia, the customer who knows they have a problem, looked at your product, and went back to their routine anyway.

They didn’t choose a competitor. They chose nothing. And nothing is winning.

This week, stop asking “how do I beat X brand?”

Ask instead: where does my customer decide not to bother, and how do I remove that moment?

That one question is worth more than any competitive analysis.
