Another completion, another doorstep hamper🧺

Let’s talk about it.

I’m probably not the “traditional” mortgage broker in a lot of ways and I’m genuinely fine with that.

I will never push you to buy a house just because you got preapproved. If I think renting a little longer makes more sense for your life, your finances or your goals, I’ll tell you. And if I think a different loan option is better for you, even if it means I don’t get the deal, I’ll tell you that too.

I’m also not trying to build a business around closing the most loans every month. I’d rather help fewer people and actually have the time to know your story, run the extra scenarios, over-explain the numbers in a detailed email, answer every question and make sure you feel confident in the decision you’re making. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make and I never want anyone to feel rushed into it because a lender or broker needed another closing on the board.

So no, I might not do everything the “traditional” way. But I will always be honest with you, explain the why behind the numbers and help you make the decision that’s right for you.

Kids go back to school next week and it’s got me thinking about how hard it actually is to find places that are child friendly when you need to get something sorted.

Half the reason people put off meetings is because they can’t find childcare 😩 so I built a play corner into the office.
