The boy has asked for navy if possible but we currently have nothing in his size!

We’re nearly there with this year’s prom requests and have already helped lots of boys with suits 🙌

But we’re now down to our final few requests and are struggling to find the right sizes/colours for 9 boys 💔

📣 Important Update from Prom Ally CIC

As many of you know, we’ve been running our little pink shop in Rhos-on-Sea for the last year. Sadly, due to a lack of regular footfall, the shop will be closing to the public at the end of February.

💗 Prom Ally is NOT closing.
We will still be here throughout the run up to prom season, but from March onwards we will be operating By Appointment Only for prom fittings. The shop will no longer be open for general walk-ins, but we will continue offering our free dress and suit loans to teenagers who need support.

We have also reopened our PO Box for donations:

All donations will continue to be put to good use. Items may be:
✔ used for our free prom loan service
✔ given away for free where needed
✔ sold via Whatnot or Vinted to help raise essential funds

Please only donate if you’re happy for your garments to be used in whichever way best supports the CIC and the young people we help.

🎀 Whatnot Auctions will remain a big part of our fundraising, and we’ll be running regular live sales. We may also begin selling selected items on Vinted.

🌐 Our website is currently under maintenance and will be relaunched soon with brand new photographs of our dress database ready for 2025’s prom season. Referrals will officially open in March for free dress and suit loans for disadvantaged teenagers.

Happy New Year everyone!! 💃🏼

I still need to get rid of about 600 stackable storage display cardboard boxes and about 300/400 wedding dress postage boxes from Colwyn Bay.

We accepted a dress donation which was incredible however they also gave us lots of cardboard boxes which we didn’t expect and the driver refused to take back.

Not to be dramatic but we are incapacitated as a CIC until we can get them moved. We can’t even access our dresses or storage unit properly as they’re in the way. We really need to start prepping for prom season but currently can’t even start.

Please let me know if anyone knows anyone who wants them for free or can dispose of them?!

We really don’t want to have to pay to get rid of them if possible!

** edit - we can’t take them to the tip or recycling center in Mochdre becaue it counts as commercial waste.

And also if anyone wants them in smaller numbers, happy to split them but they will need to be collected from Colwyn bay and won’t fit into a small car as they’re large when dismantled) May also need help carrying them all down the stairs to your car/van) x **
