🚜 EXPERIENCED DIGGER DRIVER WANTED – SELF-EMPLOYED / AD HOC 🚜

Mike Francis Groundworks is looking for an experienced digger driver to help us during busy periods, with the potential for the work to become full-time.

Let’s be clear: this is not a sit-on-a-building-site-all-day kind of job.

Our work includes:

* Forestry and brash raking
* Tree shearing
* Fencing
* Agricultural groundwork
* General heavy digger work

You must be genuinely experienced, reliable and prepared to work hard and push the job forward. If you need someone standing beside the machine telling you which lever to pull—or you’re looking for an easy ride in a heated cab—this probably isn’t the job for you.

A Class 1 HGV licence would be a definite advantage.

This is offered on a self-employed contractor basis, as and when required. The right person could be offered increasingly regular work, potentially leading to a full-time opportunity.

WE’RE RECRUITING, MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We’re expanding the team at Daltons ATV's and currently have a number of full-time positions available.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people to join us in the following roles:

POLARIS TECHNICIAN
Working within our Polaris workshop carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and preparation of Polaris ATVs & UTVs.
Manufacturer training available.

IFOR WILLIAMS TRAILERS TECHNICIAN
Servicing, repairing and preparing Ifor Williams trailers, including mechanical, braking and electrical work.

YARD MAN
Keeping machines clean, presentable and ready for customers, unloading deliveries of new units along with helping to keep the yard and workshop areas organised.

PARTS ASSISTANT
A varied role helping with our busy parts department, including:
• Picking & packing customer orders
• Booking in and putting away stock
• Stock control
• Organising and maintaining our parts stores
• General parts department duties

We’re looking for people who are reliable, organised and take pride in their work.

Experience is important for the technician positions, but for the Yard and Parts roles, attitude and willingness to work are just as important to us as experience.

It’s not just agriculture and construction we specialise in, this was a private sale of a used Valtra forestry spec tractor and log trailer for a returning customer in Mid Wales.
Machine was purchased from another forestry contractor and put straight to work.
