Call me Painter Ste!

I had a busy run of morning calls today, but with a clear afternoon ahead, I made a move.

After powering through two Neutonic drinks, I felt unstoppable

B&Q online order placed, paint collected, and I was straight into it!

Fast forward about an hour.... the caffeine buzz has well and truly worn off and my desire to finish painting has completely vanished. 😂

That said, the main wall is officially done! Being "vertically challenged" means I’ve had to leave the top bit for now, so I’ll be back with the stepladders tomorrow to get it boxed off.

This is also the first look at one of our new company colours. It goes on quite light but dries into a really nice dark finish. I’ll post the updated full-wall photo tomorrow once it's dry and the trim is finished!

Make sure you're checking that your mortgage advisor is whole-of-market so you can get the best deal possible!

As you may have seen recently, not everyone (cough cough, some estate agent mortgage advisors) has access to every lender on the market!!

Make sure you do your research, as finding the right mortgage advisor can be just as important as finding the right home!

When 2+2=7?! Something doesn't add up mate😅

There are so many things lenders take into consideration when looking at your affordability.
It's not all about your take home pay..

➡️ Love spending your Friday nights in the bookies?
➡️ Credit card addiction?
➡️ Is your Range Rover ran through the business? Or is it a personal expense?

A good accountant, coupled with an on the ball mortgage advisor, can help you shape your end of year accounts, to make sure there are no nasty suprises when you start house hunting..

Taking out finance can have two big impacts during the mortgage application process.

1. Affordability - this additional monthly expense can reduce the amount you're able to borrow.

2. Credit profile - searches and changes to your credit profile can have an impact on your credit score, meaning you may not pass the lenders credit checks
