First game as champions and it ended a draw 2-2 conceding a last second penalty. It was a good game on the whole with both teams playing football and creating chances at both ends. It was a game where the pressure of needing to win hadn’t been lifted and the kids seemed more tense than ever and were at each other all game which was odd after Saturday and ultimately how the penalty came about, switching off and worrying about disagreements on the pitch. Another important lesson learned for them and an experience for them to fall back on going forward.

Some great performances there though, especially through the middle, Sam was excellent again with his tireless work rate and 2 quality assists for the goals.
Joel and Louis with 2 superb composed finishes. Gutted the camera was more interested what was going on the pitch behind and I don’t think it’s caught any of it 😡
Huktra Player of the match: Tom
Tom put in a captains performance, getting his head on the long balls to clear the danger, emptying the ball up the pitch, unreal long throws and there was one moment where Logan went across to cover the right back as he should be their striker made a run in behind and Tom has tracked him from midfield and cut the danger out straight away. Really good reading of the game 👏 same again, he’s played a few different positions again tonight and each one he done well. Superb Tom, well in 💪
