Meet Sam 👋

Introducing Sam Hogg, Recruitment Consultant here at Wynne.

Sam spent five years in welfare-to-work, helping people find their way into employment. Moving into recruitment was a natural next step, building on his passion for helping people.

Outside work, this dad of two has a busy schedule of Barbie games and judging singing and dance competitions. He’s also a lifelong Leeds fan, so he’s well practised in handling occasional disappointment (although not so much this season!) ⚽

Joey specialises in headhunting and international recruitment across Power & Energy, Life Sciences, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical and Software.

His favourite part of recruitment? Solving problems. Whether that’s finding the right person for a niche role or helping someone make a move to progress their career, Joey gets real satisfaction from making the right match.

He also enjoys the variety the job brings and working alongside a great group of people.

Away from work, his two children keep him entertained and busy. When he gets a bit of spare time, you’ll find him out walking, playing football (badly, by his own admission!) or reading about an obscure historical topic. An unashamed history nerd! 📚
