We are collecting food for Christmas 2022 for Southend Foodbank at Eastwood Baptist Church.

This is a difficult time of year for many people in our community, so we want to help.

We are collecting:

• LONG LIFE FRUIT JUICE
• SOUP
• JAM
• TINNED TUNA
• INSTANT MASH
• QUICK COOK RICE
• TEA BAGS
• BISCUITS
• TINNED OR INSTANT CUSTARD
• RICE PUDDING
• CEREAL BARS
• SWEET AND SAVOURY SNACKS
• CHRISTMAS TREATS

Start of a new era for LMA payroll. We are relocating today, its business as usual, same phone numbers, same email addressess. Kelly Earl and I will be working from home, so if you see the office closed please let everyone know we are still very much in business just working from a different location. The guidance for the new Job Support Scheme has changed again today. I have attached the link below, we do not have all the details yet but I will try to keep you updated as we get it

The government today announced it will significantly increase the generosity and reach of its winter support schemes to ensure livelihoods and jobs across the UK continue to be protected in the difficult months to come, supporting jobs and helping to contain the virus.

So I’ve worked 40 hours in 3 days inputting claims for employers to receive money from the government, under the job retention scheme for their furloughed workers . Let’s hope HMRC now keeps to their side of the bargain and processes them in time for payday!
