We are looking for a Driver’s Mate to join The Goods Depot team!

đźšš Travel Area: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire & surrounding areas
đź’° Salary: ÂŁ12.71 per hour
⏱️ Hours: 30 hours per week (Permanent)
🕢 Working Hours: 07:30am – 3:00pm (plus additional hours to meet business needs)

About Us: The Goods Depot, launched in 2019, is a growing social enterprise and trading subsidiary of Charity Link. We provide essential household goods to charities, housing associations, and individuals in need—making a real difference across the communities we serve. Our team works together to deliver both operational excellence and meaningful social impact every day.

The Role: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mate to support our delivery and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on, varied role working closely with our driver to ensure goods are delivered safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting the driver with daily delivery routes
*Loading the van each morning and preparing stock for delivery
*Delivering goods to a variety of locations, including residential properties
*Installing white goods, including electric cookers and washing machines
*Providing excellent customer service on every delivery
*Supporting general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organisation, and stock management

What We’re Looking For
*Reliable, punctual, and committed
*Previous distribution or warehouse experience is essential
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
*Positive attitude and strong team ethic
*Willingness to learn and develop new skills
