💚 World Mental Health Day – 10th October 💚

At PWH Accountancy, we believe that being an accountant is about so much more than just numbers, tax returns and year-end accounts.

Running a business can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be stressful, lonely and overwhelming at times. Behind every business is a person, and sometimes that person needs someone to talk to just as much as they need an accountant.

We make a point of meeting with our clients as much as possible not just to talk about their accounts, but to understand how things are going for them, both in business and in life.

Over the years, many of our client relationships have grown into genuine friendships. We have listened, offered a shoulder to cry on, shared a laugh, talked through difficult times and helped people navigate some of life’s biggest challenges.

Sometimes, the most important conversation isn’t about tax or profit. It’s simply asking someone, “Are you OK?"

Whether you need support with your business, advice on your finances, help working through a difficult situation, or simply someone who will listen without judgement, we’re here.

We understand that financial pressures, business worries and personal challenges can all take their toll on mental health. You don’t always have to face them alone.

🎉 PWH ACCOUNTANCY IS 13 TODAY! 🎉

Well… somehow we’ve made it to 13 years in business! 🥳

Apparently that makes us a teenager now… so expect the odd attitude, questionable decisions, staying up too late and thinking we know everything. 😂

From starting out 13 years ago to where we are today, it’s fair to say we’ve grown a bit! 📈 What started as a little idea has turned into a business we’re incredibly proud of.

And that’s down to two things…

Today we took the team out of the office and onto the water for a bit of team building.

No spreadsheets. No tax returns.… just narrowboats, questionable navigation skills and a lot of gin !

We may be accountants, but apparently we still can’t make a boat balance. ⚓️🤣

🎉 MTD SUBMISSIONS — ALL DONE! 🎉

That’s a wrap! 🙌

PWH Accountancy has now completed ALL of our clients’ MTD submissions — and the best part…

✅ Every single one was submitted on time! 👏

A massive well done to the whole team for getting through them all. MTD has certainly kept us busy, but we’ve got every client across the line and can now breathe a little easier! 😅

“You get what you pay for.” It’s something we hear all the time in the accountancy profession.

Many accountants believe that if an accountant is inexpensive, they can’t possibly provide a high-quality service. We don’t agree.

At our practice, we’ve built a different business model. Rather than charging a small number of clients very high fees, we look after a large number of clients and keep our fees affordable. That doesn’t mean we cut corners.

Our clients still receive:
✅ Experienced accountants.
✅ Proactive tax advice.
✅ Fast responses.
✅ Personal service.
✅ The same attention to detail as businesses paying much higher fees elsewhere.

A high fee doesn’t automatically mean a better accountant, just as a low fee doesn’t mean a poor one.

For us, it’s about offering excellent value. We’d rather build long-term relationships with lots of happy clients than maximise profit from each individual client.

Affordable doesn’t mean inferior. It simply means we’ve chosen a different way of doing business.

What matters most isn’t what your accountant charges – it’s the value, advice and service you receive.
