Another busy week at SmartWatch!

We've just taken delivery of 4 brand new AI Solar CCTV Towers, ready to be deployed across customer sites nationwide.

This video shows our AI powered Solar CCTV Tower doing exactly what it was designed to do.

After detecting unauthorised activity, the system issues an initial audio warning. When that warning is ignored, the AI escalates the response, increasing the deterrent effect and helping to prevent incidents before they become security breaches.
All this happens within 10 to 15 seconds of the activation!

These new towers combine:
✅ Advanced AI-powered detection technology
✅ Rapid deployment and remote monitoring
✅ Sustainable solar-powered operation
✅ 24/7 monitoring by our dedicated control room
✅ Reliable site security without the need for mains power

This latest investment increases our deployment capacity and strengthens our commitment to providing innovative, environmentally conscious security solutions across the UK.

With diesel now hitting £2 per litre, construction firms are facing a major cost challenge.
According to Construction Enquirer, the construction industry has absorbed an estimated £600m fuel price shock this year, with diesel prices rising by around 42% since January. The report warns that fuel costs are placing significant pressure on margins across plant hire, civil engineering and construction businesses. https://www.constructionenquirer.com/2026/09/29/2-diesel-threatens-600m-construction-fuel-shock/

At SmartWatch Solutions, we've been helping clients reduce their reliance on diesel through innovative site technologies, including:
☀️ Solar Lighting Towers
📹 Solar CCTV Systems
⚡ Solar Hybrid Generators (SolGen) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM8ifiZEsCw

Our hybrid and solar-powered solutions can dramatically reduce fuel consumption, site visits, operating costs and carbon emissions, while maintaining the reliability sites demand.

With fuel prices showing no signs of easing and the possibility of them hitting £3 per litre, now is the time to explore smarter alternatives.

74.8% less fuel. £8,700 saved. 111 tonnes of CO₂ avoided.

That's what happened when two SmartWatch Solutions Series 1 SolGen Solar Hybrid Generators replaced a planned 100kVA diesel generator on a major renewable energy project for Lancaster University.

Over a 260-day reporting period:

☀️ 45 days were powered entirely by solar and battery storage

⛽ Fuel consumption was reduced by almost 75%

💷 The client saved £8,703.26 after hire costs

🌱 More than 111,000kg of CO₂ emissions were avoided

🔋 Diesel runtime was cut by 64%

These results demonstrate that temporary site power can be cleaner, smarter and more economical than traditional diesel generation.

And with our latest Series 2 SolGen technology now available, the savings potential is even greater.

The future of site power isn't coming. It's already here.

Proud to support our local community 💚

SmartWatch were recently approached by a local Scouts group in Morley, Leeds, who have unfortunately been facing repeated theft and vandalism at their campsite base.

As part of our ongoing Social Value and CSR commitment, we were more than happy to step in and help. Our team provided and installed a CCTV system to improve security and help protect their facilities for future generations.

Scouting plays a vital role in developing young people, and it’s important that these community spaces remain safe and secure.

A big thank you to our team for delivering this project and to the Scouts for the great work they do locally 👏
