As we mark the 12th Ethics Week across IPF, we're reminded that making ethical decisions helps deliver better outcomes for our customers. It builds trust, supports fair and responsible financial services, and helps us deliver on our purpose of building a better world through financial inclusion.

This year's theme, Making the Right Decisions in a Changing World, reflects the reality that regulation, technology and customer expectations are evolving faster than ever. In this environment, the decisions we make every day matter. They help us navigate change responsibly while continuing to do what's right for our customers, colleagues and the communities we serve.

This week, colleagues across IPF are taking part in webinars, panel discussions, workshops and other activities that encourage reflection, discussion and learning, helping to keep ethics at the heart of how we work.

The acquisition of International Personal Finance by New York-based BasePoint Capital has now completed.

Commenting on the transaction, IPF CEO Gerard Ryan said:
"What is particularly exciting about this new chapter for IPF is the opportunity it creates for our business and the possibilities to deliver our purpose to build a better world through financial inclusion. BasePoint brings deep experience in our sector and a proven track record of accelerating growth. It intends to work with us to accelerate our own growth plans and is a firm believer in our purpose of building financial inclusion.
We believe this creates a strong foundation to build on our existing strategy and continue bringing benefits to our customers, our people and the communities we serve."

BasePoint CEO Eric Schneider added: "We are delighted to welcome IPF into the BasePoint group. We are excited about the opportunity ahead and the role IPF can play in expanding access to responsible financial services. IPF is a high-quality business with a strong management team, deep customer relationships and a clear sense of purpose. The transaction has completed following shareholder approval, Court sanction and regulatory clearances. IPF is now privately-owned by BasePoint but remains a UK-incorporated business headquartered in Leeds. This is a change in ownership, not in how the business operates. There is no impact on customers, products or services.

New York-based BasePoint Capital is an established provider of asset-based financing and liquidity solutions to specialty finance companies, including commercial, fintech and consumer originators with deep experience in consumer specialty finance.

As Provident Romania celebrates its 20th anniversary, the spotlight is on the people behind the business.

Through the Life As It Is campaign, colleagues shared personal stories about the roles they play beyond work — as parents, volunteers, community members and individuals navigating the realities of everyday life. These stories came together in a film, making the people who make Provident Romania what it is today an integral part of its anniversary story.

The film premiered at a special cinema event attended by more than 250 colleagues and their families. Rather than focusing solely on business achievements, the celebration recognised the people whose dedication, commitment and everyday contributions have helped shape Provident Romania over the past two decades.

The Invisibles, IPF's global community programme, was at the heart of our ninth Volunteer Month, held in May.

Across nine markets, more than 3,500 colleagues and customer representatives came together to support the communities where our customers and colleagues live and work. Together, they contributed over 7,000 volunteering hours and helped raise €200,000 for initiatives that advance our purpose of .

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this year's Volunteer Month for Invisibles such a success.

In Mexico, this year’s charity ProviRun focused on supporting Una Nueva Esperanza and the life-changing care it provides to children and adolescents with cancer.

Around 70 Provident colleagues, some accompanied by their families, gathered near the city of Puebla on Saturday to complete a run around the Cholula Pyramid.

The event also featured a Pilates class, a boxing session, and a rally, making it an engaging and active day for everyone involved.

The Gajusz Foundation in Poland, which supports terminally ill children, can once again count on the support from Provident.

Earlier today, about 700 adults and 150 children got together in a forest near the town of Łódź to run or walk the distance of 5.5 kilometers to be positively active and raise money to support the foundation. This year’s edition was especially meaningful, marking the highest amount ever donated in the history of the run in Poland.
