In Mexico, this year’s charity ProviRun focused on supporting Una Nueva Esperanza and the life-changing care it provides to children and adolescents with cancer.

Around 70 Provident colleagues, some accompanied by their families, gathered near the city of Puebla on Saturday to complete a run around the Cholula Pyramid.

The event also featured a Pilates class, a boxing session, and a rally, making it an engaging and active day for everyone involved.

The Gajusz Foundation in Poland, which supports terminally ill children, can once again count on the support from Provident.

Earlier today, about 700 adults and 150 children got together in a forest near the town of Łódź to run or walk the distance of 5.5 kilometers to be positively active and raise money to support the foundation. This year’s edition was especially meaningful, marking the highest amount ever donated in the history of the run in Poland.

As the day unfolds, our teams are joining - coming together to stay positively active while supporting the communities where our customers and colleagues live and work.

In Romania, colleagues are taking part in the charity ProviRUN throughout the weekend to raise funds for local initiatives. Provident Romania’s Board will donate for every kilometer completed, which is why some colleagues are also taking part in the - helping to add even more kilometers and increase the total contribution to the initiative.

Today, Hungary led the way as the first Provident market to complete its ProviRun, hosting events across three locations to encourage maximum participation, promote positive activity, and support important local causes - with Provident Hungary donating for each colleague taking part.

Continuing its tradition, the in Hungary is supporting the
Csodalámpa Alapítvány / Magic Lamp Foundation, which fulfills the wishes of seriously ill children.

A total of around 100 participants, including colleagues and their family members, gathered to complete the run in Budapest and Szeged. The events began with warm-up sessions led by professional athletes, followed by participants covering the traditional 5.5 km distance and enjoying a post-run snack together.

Meanwhile, a group of about 250 colleagues at Lake Tisza took part in a full family day following the run, continuing a much-loved tradition in a scenic setting.

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 9, our teams across Europe and Mexico will take part in the ninth annual Volunteer Month For Invisibles by supporting the charity event.

Colleagues from multiple markets will come together for the run, strengthening our global community while contributing to our purpose: building a better world through financial inclusion.
