It also supports the Ask for Angela scheme, helping people discreetly ask trained staff for help if they feel unsafe.

It’s about helping operators protect their people, strengthen their teams, reduce risk, and create safer spaces for customers to enjoy.

Pub Pride 2026 is coming up on Friday 29th May, kicking off Pride Month with a celebration of LGBTQ+ inclusion across pubs, bars, clubs, cafés, festivals and hospitality venues.

Led by Ask For Clive, the campaign helps venues show that they are welcoming, inclusive spaces with zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or any form of hate.

For venue owners, this is about more than putting a sticker in the window. It’s about making sure staff are trained, customers feel safe, and everyone knows your venue is a place where people can enjoy themselves without fear of discrimination.
