The Basil Fry Elves have once again been hard at work packaging up the exclusive 2025 Basil Fry Desk Calendars. All items are in the post and will be with our wonderful clients very soon! Look out for yours in the post. It’s also a chance for us to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year and to let you know our offices are closed this afternoon as we celebrate another record year at Basil Fry at our staff Christmas lunch. We’ll be back at 09:00hrs on Monday.

We are proud to announce that our colleague Frazer Clark here at Basil Fry and Company is taking part in the New Forest Marathon on the 8th of September.

He is running in memory of Alex O’Neil and to support his cousins who lost their much-loved brother five years ago.

The charity, LBT Global were there to offer support and help seek answers when other services failed to do so. Frazer will be running to raise awareness of this incredible charity and hopefully raise some money for them at the same time.

I think we deserve a sit down! Following the Movers & Storers Show this week our conference and trade show events draw to a close for this year! And what a year we’ve had. In no particular order, our teams have attended events in Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton, Birmingham, Hinckley, The Forest of Arden, Rotterdam, Stockholm, St Anton, Lisbon, Monaco, and Melbourne! It has been fantastic catching up with so many of our industry friends at all these events and building new relationships. Without wishing the year away we’re already excited and planning ahead for 2024! Thanks must go to the whole team for their help over the last two days and throughout the year. 🙏 Basil Fry & Company

Basil Fry & Co. were proud to once again be the Major Sponsor at the recent annual BAR Conference which took place in Brighton in May.

The event always gives our team the opportunity to catch up with industry friends and colleagues and our clients from across the UK and abroad.

Aside from the informative and well-run business sessions we were privileged to hear from Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards on his amazing life, and also listen to Hal Cruttenden’s very amusing take on the world.

Congratulations must be extended to the finalists nominated for the Annual BAR awards and we look forward to catching up with everyone in Glasgow next year.

We waited three years for a Christmas Party and it was worth the wait! ‘Secret Santa Dan’ started proceedings followed by a visit over lunch from David Brent (AKA Tim Oliver) and Gareth Keenan (AKA Brett Sirrell). Fantastic entertainment Gents! Thank you.

On 16th October, Basil Fry Director, Peter Doman and Account Handler, Kanun Albayrak ran the streets of Portsmouth by completing The Great South Run in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), raising over £1,400.

Peter wanted to support the charity having previously visited a number of the houses in the UK and his sister, Jenni Doman is a Governor of the RMHC house at St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

Jenni commented ‘We’re really grateful to Peter & Kanun for choosing RMHC as their chosen charity. RMHC provides accommodation for families who need to stay near their children while they are receiving treatment. Their efforts in raising £1,445.00 have meant funding for nearly 50 nights’ accommodation for families which is amazing!

Everyone at Basil Fry are really proud of the lads for their efforts – Bragging rights went to Kanun who finished 90 seconds ahead of Peter!
