We have vacancies for experienced staff to join our friendly teams at our Fylde Coast Branches.

The role involves:

Dealing with our customers face to face and over the phone

Handling new business enquiries, sales, mid-term adjustments and renewal terms

Securing new business opportunities

Growing existing business income through retention and cross-selling

Providing technical advice to ensure our customers insurance needs are met

Providing exceptional customer service at all times

Ideal candidates will have:

A working knowledge of General Insurance products

Strong communication skills and sales ability

Customer Service experience

Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience of using broker software systems such as CDL or SSP

Excellent written & communication skills

This is a fantastic opportunity for career development, promotion and progression whilst securing a long-term career. We will invest in you, offering extensive training and fund your Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Qualifications.

Trainees will be considered. If you wish to start a career with us you must have a strong admin background, be PC literate, self-motivated, with excellent negotiation and communication skills. Some experience in a customer facing/sales background would be advantageous. The training period is a minimum of 6 months.

We can offer a competitive basic salary plus a monthly bonus and an annual wage review. Salary linked to industry experience.

If your home has been damaged by storm conditions, we understand how distressing it can be and we're here to help as best we can. Take a look at our storm damage prevention checklist.

Check exterior drains - Is rainwater flowing away?

Check guttering for damage or debris - So water can flow away easily

Check for cracks in brick work or render - It could allow water ingress

Check for any leaks - In and around windows and doors

Check the loft - For any hidden leaks

Check outside drainage - Ensure areas don't breach damp course heights, e.g. patios, decking or driveway

Check garden furniture - Make sure items are tied down and secure so they can't cause damage, e.g trampolines

Tree safety - Check trees near your property are healthy and not likely to fall or cause damage

Inspect flat roofs for damage or leaks - Flat roofs in particular have a shorter lifespan

Check tiles on roof - For loose or cracked tiles or slates

Check mortar on chimney - Ensure it is in good condition and not degraded

Following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II, BP Insurance Brokers joins millions of mourners around the UK and the world in paying tribute.

To mark the passing of Her Majesty The Queen and to allow our clients and staff to pay their respects, we will be closing the office on Monday 19th September and re-open on Tuesday 20th September.

It is with great sadness that we share our condolences following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. More than a national treasure, she was the backbone of the United Kingdom and her death is a great loss to humanity.
Queen Elizabeth II led at all times with a quiet determination and selfless devotion, and has been all that is the very best in us. While being Monarch she has raised a loving family whom she adored, and they her. As HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh was to her, she has been our nation’s strength and stay.
Her work with hundreds of charities helped to provide opportunities for young people, veterans and the homeless. Her charity work also created improvements for areas such as education, health and agriculture. In fact, The Queen did more for charity than almost any other person in history, it’s just one of the ways she set an example for us all.
To quote Queen Elizabeth II “Grief is the price we pay for love.”
