Just a quick reminder that we'll be taking a short break for the festive season and our office will be closed from Friday 22nd December 2023, and will re-open on Wednesday, 10th January 2024 at 11am.

If you need to make any last-minute transactions or discuss your account, don't forget to pop in on Thursday, 21st December between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

It's that time of year where our members are invited to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held within Croy Community Hub.

Date: Wednesday 26th April 2023
Time: 6pm till 8pm

We are always on the lookout for fresh new faces to join the board or become volunteers and be part of supporting the future growth and sustainability of the credit union for decades to come. We'd like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Fantastic New Year, from the whole team here at Antonine Credit Union.

The credit union office will be closed until Wednesday 4th January 2023. However there will be a staff member available during Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th from 11am till 1pm, should you need to urgently get in touch or speak to us during the festive break. We hope you all have a great time. :-)

Thinking of joining a credit union, or not sure what one is?

Antonine Credit Union, previously known as Croy and Kilsyth Credit Union, was founded in 1981 and is a financial co-operative owned by our members.

Originally set up by a group of friends around a coffee table in their front room, the Credit Union has developed from there to our new modern day service.

Like all credit unions, we are a not-for-profit, community-based organisation, owned by our members who regularly save and borrow with us and managed by the nominated and elected board of directors, voted in from them at our AGM, along with a pool of volunteers and staff who support us with the day to day running of the organisation. we are able to offer our members access to savings accounts and individually tailored low-cost loans.

We are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority 213818. As part of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, we are able to say you're money is protected upto £85,000 just like any traditional bank, offering you also that little piece of mind, knowing that should in the unlikely case, anything go wrong that you're money is covered by the UK's deposit guarantee scheme.

Our Common Bond has also grown and we are now accepting new members, from all across North Lanarkshire. Without us losing the overarching goal of being all about people helping people, we are here to help, it's never to late to save for a rainy day!
