Now January is out the way, time for a wee update and for any new followers or clients a little bit about myself and the services I offer.

I started working in an Accountancy Practice in 1995 and left in 2015 when it was bought over. I took the plunge and went Self Employed on a part time basis in 2016 working from home as well as in employment as an Accounts assistant.

Over 6 years later in October 2022 I moved to an Office in Kilmarnock where I still am today, after loosing my Dad in the same week I found myself coping by building my business, my passion was always being my own boss. I then left my part time job in April 2023 to be in the Office working full time.💙

Unfortunately life hit our family with bad news in July 2023 when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and sadly it spread quickly and he passed away in November 2023. 💔Between July and November it was hard going but I had to still work, keep going, my family and my clients needed me and routine kept me going. 😘

My business has thrived over the last few years, and at the end of 2025 I decided it was time to focus on the areas of work I enjoy the most and with all the changes coming into force with MTD from April 2026, change my services accordingly.

Finished the submissions of Tax Returns for another tax year. Impressed with 32 hours to spare 😂

298 Self Assessments filed since 6th April 2025 thanks for keeping us busy along with all the other daily, weekly, monthly and annual work we do !! 💙

To finish some admin then it’s bingo and a few refreshments for me … well deserved if I even say so myself 😘
