It is with great sadness that we announce the permanent closure of our beloved Soaring High Display Centre. We have tried our best to stay open but the COVID 19 pandemic and the current finical climate has just proved too much for us. It is with a heavy heart we have taken this decision and would like to thank everyone who has supported us since we first opened. - The Soaring High Team. ❤️

We are closed for today (as the weather is currently unsuitable to fly the birds) and the rest of the winter season for general visits/to the public. We’d like to thank everyone who has visited and supported us this year, we appreciate all the lovely reviews we’ve received and much more.

We are still taking bookings for private experiences and any private functions such as photography days, care home visits, and more. Please contact us for free quotes if you’re interested. For experiences all under 16s must have one spectator to accompany them. Also if you have 3 or more participants in an experience, you will get a discount, same goes for 4 or more spectators too!

We currently have the following experiences available to book through our website:

Child’s Owl Experience (Ages 5-7 only) - £35 per child participant and £10 per spectator. Duration: 30 minutes.

If your little ones have ever wanted a fully hands on experience with some amazing owls, this is the service for them! They'll get to handle and fly 2 different owl species, while learning all about them, making for a truly memorable experience.

The Barn Owl Experience (Ages 7 and over) £40 per participant and £10 per spectator. Duration: 30 minutes.

Are you or one of your loved ones a barn owl lover? Then this experience is for them. If you've ever wanted a fully hands on experience with a couple of our barn owls, this is the service for you! You'll get to handle and fly either both a female and male British Barn Owl or a British Barn Owl or one of our Black Barn Owls, while learning all about them, making for a truly memorable experience. If you don't get to fly a Black Barn Owl on this experience then you'll get the chance to hold and have your picture taken with one.

The Owl Experience (Ages 8 and over) £70 per participant and £10 per spectator. Duration: 1 hour.

If you've ever wanted a fully hands on experience with some amazing owls, this is the service for you! You'll get to handle and fly 3 different owl species, while learning all about them, making for a truly memorable experience.

The Bird of Prey Experience (Ages 12 and over) £70 per participant and £10 per spectator. Duration: 1 hour.

If you've ever wanted a fully hands on experience with some amazing birds of prey, this is the service for you! You'll get to handle and fly 3 Bird of Prey species, while learning all about them, making for a truly memorable experience.

Due to a good half term last week we will be open this coming weekend! Weekend opening times are still normal opening times. Come see our owls and other birds of prey! 🦉🦅

We only have 2 more days left of our half term opening week (including today and tomorrow) and the weather is looking lovely for today which is the perfect chance to go out in the fresh air and have an owl fly to you up close and see more different bird of prey species too! We are open from 10:30am up until 15:00pm with last entry time today being 14:45pm. As well as having an owl fly to you, we also have a watchable owl display today with Sayuri our Bengal Eagle Owl starting between 12:00-1:00pm and he flies very close as well as sometimes even flying over your head, this is a perfect opportunity to get some stunning photos of him. Tomorrow's the day we are open from until Sunday for the half term! Come and visit us if you fancy flying an owl, seeing it up close and holding a few different birds afterwards! 😄 The birds can't wait to see you all!

We are open Tue-Sat 10:30am-3:00pm - Last entry 2:45pm and Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm - Last entry 2:30pm.

For entry prices please look at our website. If anyone has a entry ticket from a bird adoption or raffle that expires on 31st October or in November we recommend using up your tickets this week or the following weekend as these are for general entry only, not private experiences since we will be closed for the winter for general visits from next Monday.

Just a reminder that we are open this half term! We will have hands on displays as well as a watchable display too and the chance to hold a few different bird of prey species. Also, a favourite bird of our owl team is back in hands on displays, that being Lupin the Southern White-Faced Owl who is our smallest owl we currently have who only weighs a mere 6.5-7oz 😮!

Our entry prices are: £9 adults, £7 children, £7 seniors and under three's go free.

As well as owl wedding ring bearers we also offer private Photography Days! When booking a photography day with us this will be completely private to you and any other people who attend.

Group bookings are welcome or if you and your friend are photographers and just want a private booking for a few hours taking pictures of birds of prey then this private function is perfect for you! Any bookings must be booked in 1 week in advance and quotations are free. Contact us for more information if you are interested! 🦉🦅📸

**Please note we only have certain birds flying at certain times a year and not all birds below may be featured on a photography day when you decide to book. Our photography days will consist of small-medium owls as well as 1-2 falcons and possibly 1 large owl/or a hawk. Photography day bookings currently run from Wednesday-Sunday only.**

🪶🦉NEW: Owl Wedding Ring Bearer Services 🦉🪶
Are you or someone you know getting married? Do you or the lovely couple you know love owls and want something to remember for life? Then how about having an owl deliver the rings to the bride or groom on the wedding day! We are now offering owl ring bearer services from some of the small-medium owls from our bird team from our smallest Southern White-faced Owl Lupin to our gorgeous female British Barn Owl Chica!

**Expired post. VOLUNTEERS FOUND**

We’re possibly looking for a volunteer who can do two days a week (preferably in the week) who is very passionate about birds of prey, experience isn’t necessary but is preferred if not training is provided.

We’re only looking for ages 16 and over.
Please note this is not a voluntary job to ‘cuddle owls’ this mostly includes cleaning as well hands on handling and flying the birds daily and training any new birds.
