I feel like I've been on a trip round the world today, all from the comfort of my desk! Had a zoom call with an American client looking to return home to Northern Ireland and looking to buy a home to move back to. Spoke to clients in Singapore who are also looking to return to the UK and finally some clients in Dubai looking to purchase a buy to let property in the UK!
If you look back at how technology worked back in the 1990s it wouldn't have been possible 😂🤣😂🤣

My out of office is on and I can now look forward to my first ever ski trip!!

Here's a glance at what cases I've wrapped up before leaving the office this week!

** 4 limited company remortgages for clients releasing money to expand their portfolio

** 2 buy to let mortgages for an ex pat client releasing equity to increase his portfolio in readiness for retirement

** Shared ownership purchase for a friend who is exciting to be getting back on the property ladder, after nearly 10 years of renting

** Mortgage offer agreed for a client buying his first residential house. His previous property fell through so he was very nervous about this 2nd time round. Was nice to make that call and put his mind at rest and confirm his mortgage was approved!!

** Received an offer for clients, remortgaging their home to release money to buy a holiday let

** Application Submitted for purchase of an 8 bed holiday let

This is a small portion of my week. I love being busy and I love helping my clients to achieve their dreams but it's now time for a rest and some apres ski in Austria 🎿 🏂 🍺 🍻

Just wanted to share something that I see on a regular basis. Although I've never seen these types of references, I have seen plenty that could affect a mortgage application! When transferring money to friends please make sure that you think about the reference you use! Even if you think it's funny at the time!

Great news for a Monday morning! This was a case where my client had spoke to a broker already and been told that there was no chance she would get a mortgage on her income. She's so happy and pleased she gave it one last shot with me before giving up on her dream of being a homeowner!
