🐝Bee of the Week: Jon 🐝

This week, we’re celebrating the man behind the visuals.

Jon’s been part of PolicyBee for 10 years. He started out as a copywriter, but soon realised his real passion was design. He takes care of all aspects of our design, be it a leaflet, a social post, or an email.

He loves working in a creative field, and it shows. From single-handedly creating 320 videos and images for an ad campaign to rolling out a refreshed brand identity across every channel, Jon’s had a big hand in shaping how PolicyBee looks.

To the marketing team, he’s the person who brings our ideas to life. He’s also the one who's always up for a deep chat, armed with a film or music recommendation and, apparently, capable of putting away a whole net of Babybels in a matter of minutes.

Creativity comes in many forms. 🧀

Turns out our finance team aren't just good with figures. They're pretty handy with power tools too! 🔨🐝

For their team building day at Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park, they swapped spreadsheets for screwdrivers and put together this rather impressive PolicyBee-themed climbing frame for the ring-tailed lemurs.

Teamwork? ✅
Problem-solving? ✅
Giant wooden bee? Obviously. ✅

Safe to say, they really nailed it.

Some of our customer service advisers swapped insurance for dodgeball and punting last week, with a team day out in Cambridge. 🐝

First up, dodgeball at VRXtra Cambridge - putting their teamwork, communication, and lightning-fast reactions to the test. Then it was onto the river for a spot of punting, before finishing the day with a well-earned dinner.

It gave everyone time to catch up and strengthen the connections that make them such a great team. 💪

🐝 Say hello to our Bee of the Week Jenna, from our new business team. 🐝

If you've ever chatted with Jenna about insurance, you'll know she's got a knack for making the whole process feel a lot less complicated. She spends her days getting to know our clients' businesses, helping them find the right cover, answering questions, and making insurance straightforward from start to finish.

Jenna's been with us for almost 10 years, and with more than 20 years in insurance under her belt, she's still just as passionate about speaking to people and helping them get the protection they need.

When she's not busy supporting clients, she's busy with her two daughters, keeping fit, chasing sunshine, planning holidays, and making memories with her family. ☀️

And according to her manager, Jenna is a huge team player who's always willing to support others. Despite working part-time, she gets through an incredible amount of work and has earned herself the affectionate nickname... 🤖 "The Machine"
