That Friday feeling today is....feeling appreciated 💞

This couple completed on their new home last month - a huge renovation project! 🔨🏠
I popped to see them this morning as, of course, I had to have a nosey and see the before, and I just know it's going to be one hell of a transformation once they're done. 😍

Anyhoo, I was handed a card and inside were these thoughtful words.🥹
The time and effort taken to write this lovely poem really does go to show how much they appreciated my help. 🥰

It's the little things like this that make my job so rewarding! 🩷

Typically, we would say a great time look at a new deal would be around 6 months before your existing deal ends.
This gives you enough time to explore all your options and lock in a new deal. ✅
We will then continue to monitor the deals over the following months. If the rate goes up, you are protected, but if rates do drop, we will look to switch you to the better rate. It’s a win win!👌

It’s our first official day back after the Christmas break and we are ready and raring to go! 💪

I really wasn’t the best with social media last year so I vow to be better in 2026! 🙌

Having said that, last year was great. Lots of lovely clients, both existing and new, keeping me busy, but the highlight has to be the wonderful Phillipa Gascoigne joining Ridley Mortgages back in August. It’s been so great having her on board and I wish her a fantastic 2026! 🥂

Today the Bank Of England reduced the base rate to 4.50%. 😀

This is the lowest the base rate has been since June 2023!

This doesn't automatically mean lenders will reduce their rates. There are other factors that lenders take in to consideration when assessing their interest rates.

If this in any way does affect any of my clients who already have mortgage applications submitted with myself, I will be in touch. ☺️

Yesterday marked the start of Harrison's year 1 journey and today Jacob has his first day at nursery. 💙

Feels super strange having the house to myself after over 10 months of having baby Jacob by my side🥹but we are so ready for this next chapter!

I just want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients who have been so understanding and welcomed Jacob in to our appointments, phone calls and teams meetings over these past 10 months. 🥰It's been tough but we got there!
