So Frustrating
I was told not to post this as I'd upset people.
Well, you know what.
I'd rather do that than mislead them.
Honestly, I’m finding it increasingly frustrating to speak with so many individuals who are eager to become wealthy but aren’t willing to put in the necessary work. The shift in people’s attitudes towards wealth have changed and changed a lot. Take trading as an example, my own area of expertise.
People are expecting to be given the holy grail and for nothing or next to nothing. They buy cheap courses, get funded accounts or get suckered in to a “too good to be true” offering and expect to become awesome 5 minutes later. They have over inflated expectations of success and soon realise that it is not as easy as they have been led to believe.
Let’s get this out there – very often it is not their fault they think this way.
The reality is, traders are not born with an innate talent; rather, they become skilled through learning and practice with like-minded people. Developing into a successful trader is the result of gaining experience and drawing on a wide range of influences and skills. There are no short cuts. It takes grit, determination and an unrelenting desire to succeed.
If you are about to go on your trading journey, I encourage you to carefully consider what really is necessary and make certain that your chosen road-map meets those requirements. If you are already on the journey and aren’t getting towards your destination put simply, you are on the wrong road.
My customers mostly come from personal referral becoming friends and then those friends recommend friends. We work together, helping each other and importantly we become accountable for what we do and say. There’s also a number that come to me after experiencing disappointment elsewhere after being lured in by flashy promises and quick fixes.
FACT – very few actually see any meaningful results from those schemes.
If you’re gonna do it – do it right.
