What Did Drivers Really Pay for Motor Insurance in 1981?

The average premium was around £80–£150 per year, petrol cost less than 40p per litre, and policies were arranged through local brokers and paper forms.

45 years later, vehicles are far more advanced and repair costs are significantly higher, but trusted advice and personal service have remained just as important.
