TAUK has been ranked 74th in The Sunday Times 100, the official league table of Britain's fastest-growing private companies, with 67% annual sales growth over the last three years and turnover above £7.6 million.
We're the only estate agency on the 2026 list.
Out of one hundred businesses spanning tech, manufacturing, food and fashion, only one is an estate agency.
Property businesses almost never make this table, and there's a reason: most of the industry hasn't grown in years, because most of the industry hasn't given anyone a reason to choose it.
Now, awards in estate agency are usually nonsense. We all know it. Pay your entry fee, collect your trophy, stick the logo on your board. This isn't that. The Sunday Times 100 isn't something you enter with a nice testimonial and a cheque. It's compiled from published accounts. To qualify, a business has to be independent, show sustained sales growth over three full years, turn over more than £5 million, and actually make a profit. No judging panel, no sponsored categories. Just numbers, audited and ranked.
TAUK was founded in December 2020 by Steph Vass, Andrew Vass and Mark Bruce, which means all of this has been built in five years, through a housing market that has been anything but kind.
So rather than just patting ourselves on the back, here's what it means for the two groups of people this business was built for.
What does this mean if you're selling your home?
Growth like ours doesn't come from advertising. Estate agency is a recommendation business, and you cannot fake 67% annual growth for three years running in a recommendation business. It only happens when the people who used you last year are telling their friends, family and neighbours to use you this year. That's the entire engine.
It also tells you something about who'll be handling your sale. Every TAUK agent is a self-employed estate agent running their own business, not salaried staff in a branch counting down to 5:30. When you instruct one of our agents, your move is their livelihood and their reputation, in their own community, with their own name on it. They're the person who knows which street the school catchment cuts through and what the house three doors down really went for, because they live there too.
Moving home is the biggest thing most families do in a year, and it deserves an agent who treats it that way.
