Two appointments. Less than 24 hours apart. The exact same story…

Both women came to see me on their own. 😳

➡️ Both have children.
🏡 Both own a home with their partner.
👉 Neither family has life insurance to protect the mortgage if one of them dies.

And in both cases, the male partner said:

“I don’t need a will.” 🤦‍♀️😡🤦‍♀️

It made me wonder… is this just coincidence, or is it something I see time and time again?

Is it the “Superman syndrome” of thinking it won’t happen to me? 🦸‍♀️

The reality is that making a will isn’t about you. It’s about the people you love and the problems you leave behind if you don’t have one 😬

If you have children, own a home, or have people depending on you, having a will isn’t an optional extra—it’s one of the kindest things you can do for your family.

With the recent weather warnings, it’s a reminder that life can be unpredictable. ☀️🌧️

It got me thinking…

• 📖 If your loved ones had to open I’m Dead, Now What?, would all the important information be there?
• 📄 Is your Will up to date, so they wouldn’t have to guess what you wanted?
• 🏡 Would they know where to find your important documents and accounts?
• ❤️ Have you done everything you can to make an incredibly difficult time just a little bit easier for them?

When we lose someone, the last thing our families need is added stress, uncertainty or unanswered questions.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can leave isn’t money—it’s clarity, organisation and the comfort of knowing we’ve made things as easy as possible for the people we love. ❤️

Great day out on Friday playing my first round of golf in about 8 months - some great shots but some rubbish ones too 😂

It was all to raise money for charlie and carter foundation. This charity provides financial support to parents of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions.

It was a lush day out to help raise some cash!!!
