Having a play about making some project bags for beginners knit kits. Starting small so it’s going to be a bit of a cottage industry, but enjoying the sewing time.

Hi all.

Due to a number of changes in my work life, I have the opportunity to get back stuck into knitting! Aren't I lucky!

As you can see from my page I am making some changes, with my new branding just the start! I am beavering away working on a new website, and am updating old patterns as well as working on new ones that will all be available there soon...watch this space.

I am also planning to be offering knitting tuition and workshops from the Autumn, both online and face to face here in Haltwhistle. Now would be a great time to let me know what skills you might be interested in developing so I can plan them into the schedule.

Exciting times. I'll keep you updated.

Hi Folks.

As you can see I have changed the name of my page. Having been inactive for so long while I returned to work in education, and now as I start another new employment journey, I have taken the decision to cease trading as Ruth Hawkin Limited altogether.

I will still be designing, and when I do I would like to continue sharing my work with others by publishing designs, and hopefully will have more time to do this again than I have in the last couple of years. But for now it will just be as me, Ruth!

I look forward to telling you all about it xx
