The Scottish Government has launched its new First Homes Fund, helping more first-time buyers onto the property ladder.
โข Receive up to ยฃ10,000 towards buying your first home.
โข Available on new build and existing properties with a purchase price of up to ยฃ300,000.
โข Open to eligible first-time buyers across Scotland.
โข The scheme is shared equity, meaning the Scottish Government takes an equity share in your home based on its contribution.
โข There are no monthly repayments or interest charges on the Government's equity share.
โข You must have an accepted offer on a property before applying, and your application must be submitted before missives are concluded.
โข Applications cannot be made directly by buyers โ they must be submitted through a qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) or mortgage broker.
โข The fund can be used alongside a Lifetime ISA or Help to Buy ISA, provided you meet the eligibility criteria.
๐ | At Blythe & Shepherd Mortgages, we're authorised to submit First Homes Fund applications and can guide you through the process from mortgage advice to application.
