We are deeply saddened to share that our Director, Mike, unexpectedly passed away on February 20th.

Mike had been part of the family business since his teenage years and remained dedicated to it throughout his life. Even at the age of 80, he was still actively involved, continuing to work alongside us and guide the business with the same passion and commitment he always had.

To Mike, the people around him were more than just colleagues — he cared for every member of staff as if they were part of his own family. His kindness, wisdom, and support meant so much to all of us.

Life at W A Smith will not be the same without him. However, we will continue to remember the laughter he brought, his wonderful sense of humour, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike will be greatly missed and always remembered.
