It’s been a huge success which I guess make this even harder, most business owners will know how tough and crucial that first year or so is to the longevity of your little brand and to know that I have been so fortunate to have had an amazing start makes this not an easy decision.

However, I’ve got to take some time to fully focus on myself & little family & work on some things in the background.
I’ll be back hopefully soon, but for now I won’t be taking on any new clients, my existing clients are in no way impacted and will continue to support to the very end 🥹 🫶🏼 I have absolutely loved supporting so many people In their homeowner journey already and making new friends along the way.

I am still on hand to answer any questions, and happy to put you in touch with someone else whilst I take this extended hiatus!

If your mortgage is about to expire, or will do in the next 6 months! DO NOT wait!! No time with the present! You need to review your mortgage as soon as possible to ensure you secure the best rate possible now, so if rates increase you’re protected. If they decrease, it is not a problem we can pop you on a lower rate. I have seen far too many clients recently who have been ‘holding out’ for rates to drop, and there really is no need! everyone’s circumstances are different so please get in touch to discuss your individual needs 🗝️

My mission is to be your “stress filter” - as your broker the idea is, I take the stress and worry and then dilute it down to you 😅 I’m not promising 0% stress when it comes to house buying, as it can be really tough especially when things don’t go to plan, but that’s my job! To find you the deal and sort out the issues so that you don’t have to, you can just sit back and wait for that offer to come in ( although the waiting is sometimes the worst part!) I am super proud of the 2 offers I have managed to secure clients this week, even if one of which did have me up until nearly midnight most nights 😴 but I like a challenge and that feeling of pride when it finally arrives makes it all worth it 🙌🏼 I’m not lying when I say I am fully dedicated to my clients 😏

This week we saw the Bank Of England increase the base rate to 4.5% - This means that tracker/variable rates will also increase, and normally fixed products will follow at some point next week. Big news in the mortgage world this morning! 📣 A leading lender plans to launch a 100% mortgage aimed at would-be first-time buyers who cannot save for a deposit, the first since the 2008 financial crisis.
Standard home loans where the borrower does not have to put down a deposit used to be fairly commonplace but the last was axed in the wake of the last financial crisis.
However, they are getting ready to launch a mortgage targeting those “trapped in rental cycles” and who do not have access to “the bank of mum and dad,” and so are therefore unable to save up enough for a home deposit.

Precise details of how the deal will work have yet to emerge, but according to a report in the Times, the new product will be available up to 100%, and borrowers will need to demonstrate a history of paying rent comparable to mortgage repayments for up to two years.
