Our boys have done their part so far at the World Cup. After a deserved win over Haiti, we need a big performance against Morocco tonight to keep pushing ahead.

All 6 million of us and most of Boston are behind the lads, willing on every bit of success. We are the 12th man!

It's a bit like the mortgage market this year, you don't control every result. Rates move, chains collapse, uncertainty creeps in. What you do control is preparation, consistency, and taking your chances when they come.

The last few weeks have also brought some brilliant results for our clients. A cluster of First-time buyers moved into their dream homes. Rates secured for our clients on their remortgage deals and Insurance claims paid out when it mattered most.

Just like Scotland, we are always pushing for the next result.

The Final week of our Power Of Attorney Campaign.

Over the past 6 weeks we have highlighted a number of situations that could arise if you or a loved one has not arranged Power of Attorney.

Small differences in cover can make an enormous difference when clients actually need to claim. 😊

A second successful claim in successive months. Another MOFS client received a £50,000 payout from Zurich, weeks after another client's Legal and General claim.

This claim didn't quite meet the standard critical illness definition. But Zurich actively looked for a reason to pay and settled it under one of 31 additional payment conditions.

Having presented our clients with options during their protection review and discussing the proposals my clients preferred Zurich’s most comprehensive plan, Critical Illness Enhanced Plus, which started in September 2025. A few pounds a month more than other options.

Months later, that decision was worth £50,000. Because it's an additional payment, their full original cover remains in place.

Had they chosen the cheapest option or stayed with their previous provider, there would have been no viable claim on this condition.

Insurance evolves constantly. Providers add better coverage. Without advisers spreading the word, people miss it.

Happily, our client is recovering well with complete peace of mind. No financial worries ahead.

That's the difference the right advice makes.
