Today we’re shining the spotlight on the man who started it all — our Founder Gordon! 👏

Gordon has been a familiar face on Guisborough High Street for an incredible 50 years. He’s built this business from the ground up with hard work, passion, and dedication. Though he’s now semi-retired, we’re lucky that he still pops in regularly to keep us right — sharing his endless wisdom (and keeping the kettle busy!). ☕🍰

He’s not just our leader, but also our biggest supporter, always ready with a smile, a story, and of course, a slice of cake! 🎂

Outside of work, Gordon enjoys spending time with his much-loved fur babies Teddy and Millie, playing with the Salvation Army Band, and cheering on his favourite team — Middlesbrough FC ❤️🤍

We couldn’t imagine our team without him!!

Say hello to Emma, the powerhouse behind Active Mortgage Services! Emma’s dedication and drive shine through in everything she does, inspiring her team and clients alike.

She doesn’t just run the show – Emma is also a brilliant mortgage adviser, working tirelessly to help her clients find the right mortgage for them. She’s known for going above and beyond (sometimes taking on more than she should!) but somehow always keeps everything running smoothly.

Fuelled almost entirely by coffee – we’re pretty sure she should have shares in Caffè Nero – Emma keeps the office buzzing with her energy and enthusiasm.

When she’s not working her magic in the office, you’ll usually find her at a fitness class or bootcamp, staying as active as ever. And if it’s match day, there’s no doubt she’ll be cheering on her beloved Middlesbrough FC, supporting them through every season!⚽️
