Making sure we keep letting agent relationships strong.
We are sending out letters to the letting agents who are clearly in a bit of a bind right now with furlough, but send out some feelers and you know someone will know someone who can help.
Currently looking for HMOs or 3 bedroom houses to manage near Dartford and Greenhithe. We are hoping we can provide rooms for healthcare professionals.
They are the true heroes of this catastrophe and the idea that they have to live any further than a 10 minute walk from a workplace where they are on 24 hour shifts is
A : Unacceptable
And
B : Something that we as property pros can actually do something about.

What have I been doing today you ask?

I'm going to tell you anyway.
Today I have been looking for student houses. As more and more big development projects come in for students it is harder for landlords to fill their student property, so we will be offering student landlords a fully managed service, guaranteed rent and no voids on their monthly rental income.

Super excited to announce my next speaking gig.
I will be talking in Cambridge in May about overcoming objections to Rent 2 Rent.
Since taking on this new strategy as part of my business lifestyle I have seen a surge in my own confidence and also the ability to build relationships with letting agents.

Tim and I spend plenty of time ourselves searching for new investment opportunities for our R2HMO portfolio. But it can never hurt to get some extra man power!

Today I had a very exciting meeting with Clark Gibson; a property deal sourcer. Our combined efforts will hopefully yield greater and faster results, to scale the business over the next few months.

Using a deal sourcer requires you to budget more carefully / negotiate more skillfully. Fortunately Clark is very capable of negotiating terms with a landlord to make sure our next deal meets our ideal criteria.

As always, if you want to talk properly; I’m all ears.
