If you don't have a personal relationship with the company when you take out your insurance, why should you think they will care when you claim & something goes wrong? We have recently had a claim declined. After getting involved the insurer paid out in full. Use a local broker.

Welcome to our page for our Insurance Brokerage Covermybusiness. Over the coming few days we will hopefully improve the site a little.

We have been informed by another insurer that they will not pay out a water damage claim if it is deemed that the sealant around the shower/bath is faulty/missing or poorly maintained. We are seeing more and more insurers taking a similar stance. Basically if you do not maintain your property they will not pay out in the event of a claim. As a landlord myself it is becoming apparent that the regular checks of your properties is becoming vitally important.
