The University of Portsmouth’s fully-funded ‘Help to Grow: Management Course’ is coming to Gosport! (My little home town). September 3rd 2024. And its fully funded by the Government and Portsmouth Business School.
The ‘Help To Grow: Management Course' is a 90% government funded course, facilitated by small business experts, a practical programme that takes place over 3-months with both online and face-to-face sessions alongside peer support and mentoring. Aimed at senior leaders in small and medium businesses, the course covers strategies for growth and innovation, leading high-performance teams and digital transformation, as well as financial management and responsible business practices. Participants will hear from inspirational business leaders, learn alongside local peers and learn from like-minded leaders with bespoke peer-to-peer networking sessions.
Our 'Help to Grow: Management Course' is accredited by the Small Business Charter and supported by the Department for Business and Trade. It is aimed at senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses, to help them to boost their business’s performance, resilience, and long-term growth.
The in-depth high-quality curriculum will support you to build your capabilities in leadership, innovation, digital adoption, employee engagement, marketing, responsible business, and financial management. By the end of the programme you will develop a business growth plan to help you lead your business to release its potential. No assessments, no exams.
You will access:
▶12 weeks of learning designed to fit alongside work commitments
▶ 8 online sessions
▶ 4 face-to-face sessions, taking place at The Maker’s Guild 'Imagination Refinery' on Gosport High Street.
▶ You will develop a bespoke business growth plan to help your business reach its full potential
▶ You will have 1:1 support from a business mentor
▶ You will learn from peers and network with businesses just like yours
The course is 90% funded by the Government, and to support you further, Portsmouth Business School will cover the remaining 10% of the fee. This will enable you secure place on the ‘Help to Grow: Management Course’with no cost to you!
