Hot weather affects us all differently but we know that it can be particularly challenging for anyone living with a disability or health condition ☀️🌡️

It's important to take extra care on hot days!

Drink plenty of water throughout the day
Keep your home cool by keeping curtains or blinds closed
Wear high factor spf and loose fitting clothes
Avoid doing any strenuous activity during the hottest parts of the day
Check in on friends - especially those who may need a little extra support.

We recently spoke to our WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) ‘Win Back Your Premium’ competition winner about his experience with Fish Insurance and his adapted vehicle:

"We use our WAV for everything – shopping, days out and hospital appointments. It’s made a big difference to our day-to-day life as we can now go out together in the car. I can drive my powered chair up a ramp into the back, then transfer into the driving seat. Before we had this adapted car, I had to be pushed in a manual wheelchair, but now I’m much more independent.
