I have had insurance on my mobile home with Parksure for 15 years. I am happy to say that I’ve never had to use it, but I have always found them polite and helpful on renewing annually, and now that I’ve given up the caravan due to advancing age, they talked me through the cancellation procedure. Escape of water rarely starts dramatically.

It is often a slow leak, a frozen pipe or a faulty appliance quietly causing damage in the background.

For park homes, static caravans and lodges, the risk can be even greater because these properties are not always occupied. A small leak can go unnoticed for days or weeks, leading to serious damage and costly repairs.

Regular checks, especially during colder months, can make a real difference.

A little prevention now could save a much bigger problem later.
