Together, we raised an incredible £903.75 through our Fife Pilgrim Way challenge, and we're so proud that these funds will help support people and families affected by cancer.

🚫 Illegal money lending is not just something you hear about elsewhere, it has been identified here in Fife, including recent action in Methil.

When money is tight and options feel limited, loan sharks can seem like a quick solution. But they often lead to far more stress, harm and long-term difficulty.

🤝 There is always a safer way.

🎬 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 — 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 🎬

This powerful youth-led film and educational toolkit explores the harms of illegal money lending — often known as loan sharks.

We were proud to lead this project, which premiered on Tuesday at Carnegie Hall. Created in and around Dunfermline with 12 local young people, it helps raise awareness and supports prevention through education.

As lead partner, Kingdom Community Bank brought together a wide range of organisations to make this happen. We’re grateful for the collaboration and proud to now share the film and toolkit.

This March, our team at Kingdom Community Bank are taking on a sponsored walk along the Fife Pilgrim Way to raise funds for 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲'𝘀🧡

We've chosen Maggie's because cancer has touched every one of us in some way. The support they provide to individuals and families across Scotland is truly invaluable.
